A lifetime of spiritual revelations and lessons, combined with amazing training into nutrition, wellness, and behavior change by Cadence Health & Nutrition Coaching Institute (now Well College Global), has guided me towards creating a unique coaching approach which not only helps my clients make better choices in each moment, but also changes the emotional and spiritual roots of those choices, so they can be adapted and sustained over a lifetime.

My approach

I have learned that in order to obtain and maintain complete health and wellness, every part of a person should be assessed and supported.

These profound and often mysterious parts of ourselves - body, mind, and soul - need to be in balance with each other. When one part is compromised or neglected, others can likely to be impacted as well.

An essential resource I use in my work is intuition, that still small voice. Each client's story and dreams are as unique as their fingerprint, therefore I do not believe in approaching each session with the same outcome in mind. What do I know, is that a candid, vulnerable conversation about all aspects of your wellness, can hint at many factors which could be pulling your life out of balance.

In this super-connected world, it is easier than ever to search for anything you want to learn about. But there is also a downside. There is so much conflicting information about exercise, nutrition, and lifestyle, that it can become quite frustrating to sort the facts from the fads.

I want to put the power of knowledge back into your hands.

Each person needs, enjoys, and craves different things, so how could we possibly all benefit from following the same lifestyle?

Together we will work out a unique roadmap towards the transformation you desire. You will learn why certain habits, behaviours, and thought patterns could be beneficial in your journey, to take control of how you show up and experience life.

Your mindset (beliefs, values, and internal dialogue) can limit your potential and sabotage your efforts for the rest of your life if it is not supportive and helpful.

Your mindset can be influenced by certain internal blocks (false beliefs, insecurities, fears etc, the way you talk to yourself). If you do not break down these blocks, any effort towards change could be sabotaged over time.

Through candid exploration of your past, present, and future, we will uncover the barriers which could limit your potential to change and maximize your life experience.

We will create new statements to affirm your potential, and daily techniques to strengthen your resolve to crush those barriers every time they rise up.

My intuition is directly influenced by my relationship with God, and my willingness to let His Spirit guide me.

Every person knows that intuition is powerful, and many of us have seen the change it can affect when we are truly connected to it.

There many useful techniques for strengthening your faith. They may include prayer, affirmations, studying scripture, and meditations grounded in Biblical truth. I wholeheartedly believe that a passionate spiritual life is a vital part of your journey to happiness and wellness, but I will always ask permission before discussing your faith or spirituality

I have seen proof in mine and many other women's lives, that spiritual health is tantamount to whole-person wellness. I would not be very impactful or insightful in my work if I did not have this still small voice for guidance and correction.

My Story

The pain and rejection from my past drive me to be a passionate and purpose-driven woman.

Since childhood, I was stuck in a faulty mindset, which caused constant and frustrating self-limiting behaviour. Throughout my life I felt like the ugly duckling like I didn't belong, wasn't pretty enough, wasn't smart enough, wasn't disciplined enough, wasn't worthy of love and acceptance.

I struggled with social anxiety, even when I had to talk to a stranger over the phone or recite a speech in front of my class in school.

The best way for me to describe it is that it felt like something was literally pushing me back, my mind would go blank, it was close to a feeling of dread when someone would try to force me to do something that triggered my anxiety.

I felt embarrassed every time I failed, like when I didn't do well in school when I refused to practice my driving, when I avoided talking to a client, or when I didn't sabotage my own success.

Something sinister and unseen was holding me back. Today I know what false beliefs and assumptions were holding me back for so long, but it was a long journey to get to this place.

My first spiritual breakthrough came when I was 16 and found the man I had prayed for, who I am now married to.  As our young relationship grew I realized that I am worthy of love, because he loved me deeply, if not perfectly.

Over time I had another spiritual breakthrough, I mean a personal soul to soul experiences with God, which really grounded my belief that I was loved, that I really was worthy of love because He made me who I am.

So I started to push myself, little by little, overcoming my social anxiety, improving my performance at work, meeting and talking to new people, making new friends much easier than before.

The emotional or physical absence of a parent can equate to rejection in the mind of a child.

When I started to work through my past pain, I wanted to blame my father for my emotional blocks. But as Tony Robbins would say, if I want to blame him, I have to really blame him - blame him for the good as well as the bad.

My father was depressed for most of my life, and just as we started to reconnect, he passed away. But if it weren't for my journey of grief, I would not be who I am today.  As a teenager I did not understand depression and suicide, I believed that he chose to leave us and this world, but I now realize that for him the darkness was too deep and that he eventually felt it was inescapable.

When I started my training through Cadence Institute of Nutrition and Health Coaching, I believed that my journey to physical health was the reason I wanted to help other women, but it was much more significant than that.

If I had the perfect childhood, I probably would not be this passionate about helping other people to create a fulfilling and purpose-driven life for themselves.

My journey towards becoming a coach started with my own natural healing transformation

For most of my life, I struggled with negative body image, poor eating habits, and fluctuating weight.

When I hit puberty, I gained a lot of weight within three months. Like many girls that age, I did try to eat healthier, but I had no idea what "healthy" really was, and my PMS cravings weren't making it easier.

It was only when I turned 26 and started thinking about starting a family, that I decided to seek medical help to resolve my troubling and progressively worsening symptoms. To my shock, I was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome.

PCOS is a complex hormonal, metabolic and reproductive disorder that affects up to 15% of women. In the aftermath of this diagnosis, I learned I was at increased risk of being infertile, developing heart disease, type 2 diabetes and even certain types of cancer. Because I always wanted to be a mother, this left me emotional and very concerned.

My way of dealing with this diagnosis as with anything that troubled me was to read. I learned as much as I could about PCOS. I quickly found that there were changes I could to make to my lifestyle, in order to balance my hormones and improve my short-term and long-term health.

Thankfully, I accomplished these changes using natural and holistic techniques which at first felt difficult and overwhelming, but soon became a part of my life and helped me to feel more energized and optimistic about my future.

Dieting never seemed to work for me, so I decided to develop my own roadmap of eating habits and lifestyle choices which could nourish and heal my body, but that I could also enjoy and maintain easily. Within 8 months I felt fitter and healthier, two months after that, my hormones were balanced and I fell pregnant.

I maintained my healthy and active lifestyle, together with reducing exposure to toxins, which helped me truly enjoy the pregnancy with very little discomfort and only moderate weight gain.

To prepare for the birth I used special mindset training techniques daily, with the help of a Hypnobirthing Practitioner, which helped me lower my anxiety and connect with my body and my baby.

I truly believe that my healthy pregnancy and easy birth was mostly due to these natural and spiritual strategies.

Ever since these amazing transformations in my own life, I have been determined to help other women so they can also experience each day to the fullest, by creating and maintaining a healthy lifestyle using the natural and alternative choices I discover on my journey.
